bila hati mula rindu [Part 1]

Tuesday, June 22, 2010  by izzati

I was coming from the kitchen and then I saw an ad on the TV. [Well, it wasn’t an ad, it was a show]

Pertandingan Menghafaz Al-Quran Peringkat Kebangsaan. à I saw Kak Zed and his husband, Bro Fikri together taking part in the competition. MasyaAllah… [credit to Qayyim for letting me know of this.. Rushing from dapur and reached the remote control so fast I almost forgotten my lempeng in the wok..huhu =p]

The first thing to occur just when the show came into sight, I was thinking back of my very first experience and accurately just a good fortune to be a 2nd place winner after participated in the same competition in my homeland in capital city.

…….And the memoirs in KKB……. [This had enthralled the mind, the most]
Three letters.

Yet they gave me raison d'être why they have to linger perpetually in a part of my memory.
So much places to review. At last, this is all I’ve got! [saya Berjaya buat senarai tempat yang saye rajin pegi.. wink! Wink!]

Top Places in KKB [myself-rated]:
1) BSN [the most visited]
2) Everlasting [official ‘SHOPPING MALL’]
3) Kedai Luqman [rival for everlasting- betul ke pun nama kedai ni?]
4) Bus station [will only be FULL & CROWD on Friday]
5) Pasar Malam [every 29th each month rite?]
6) Post Office
7) 7-Eleven [ SLURPEE hunter@hantu]
8) Ahha! Kedai hp à what for?? TOPAP laa..!
Ya Allah! Almost forgotten padahal I never miss coming to this one
à BAKERY! [cari choc-strawberry waffle]

Credit to Pakcik Jo, Pakcik Hashim and to all other pakcik [who had weighed down my phone list] who had worked for us, never seek for bore, and with persistence waiting for our calls... because for them: “every of your calls are rejeki [ngomong orang jowo ni]”. Without pakcik-pakcik ni, no hope for KKB and groceries for me to spare.

With no spare from Everlasting or Kedai Luqman, means that I need to seek the koperasi or café so frequent I can’t bear people is on track to be acquainted with me or waiting for someone to knock the door and said : “nak nasi lemak?” à [kalau bukan akak guard tu, maybe friends from diploma or gen8 sendiri.. hehe]

They were all a symbiosis!

I have been planting too much fat there... LOL!
That was what KKB had left for me so far. I think I’ve got others to tell but they won’t be coming through my typing fingers right now…

Same thing happened to DQ. I found myself so keen to rummage around for top places! So contagious!
Top Places in DQ [myself-rated]:
1)117B aka my HOME SWEET HOME[rather stay here cause it keep calling me back]
2) Mosque [wannabe and stimulating]
3) Library [let’s update with latest news!]
4) Cyber room [secretary and PC should be bestfriendss!]
5) Laundry [hehehe… don’t ask me anything]
6) Koperasi [if I had been so desperated xnak mkn kat DEMA =p ]
7) CC- dekat dengan DEWAN BESAR[it mess me up if I don’t go every Thursday]
8) Café [ayam goreng for lunch, kuey teow for dinner]
9) Rumah staff [goreng pisang!]
10) Tasik – [my heart had sanked so deep as deep as the lake would be]
11) Pondok [we share tears and laughs together-gether]

I miss the sound of people reciting the most beautiful melody that can keep a HEARTROCK to thaw.
I miss of gazing how others are struggling so much with assorted styles and acts to memorize the Holy Book.

I miss of sitting besides of my classmates, playing hp or maybe bersembang [which I thought I was being so naughty. It might had been the naughtiest in the class!] in front of Ustaz Wan. As far as I had concerned, Ustaz Wan never raised his voice to us even once. NEVER! Even if me and the rest were not being so serious, playing around, and ngantuk [which was a compulsory] all the time, Ustaz Wan will use the best way to be reminiscent to us as what Rasulullah normally used His best etiquette and being so soft-spoken to every of the foes. Subhanallah… Ustaz Wan was the best teacher I’d ever met. A teacher who had made me felt so uncomfortable on the first day of the class, yet now had changed to someone I’d adored so much. He was a simple-man but a good father of 6 children [might had added more] and a good example.

I miss of come in front, sit and recite the verses I’ve been memorizing to ustaz.

I miss the moments I’d stayed with super-SHY Yusuf and his bro, Asyraf the super active. I have been trailing my center of attention occasionally just because I couldn’t defy myself watching the kids.

And how can I not recall these words from Ustaz Wan for being my greatest Sifu!

“Istiqamahlah dengan Al-Quran, kalau tidak dapat kita capai kemanisannya dalam masa yang singkat, usahakanlah ia dengan bersungguh-sungguh walaupun hingga 10 tahun atau lebih kerana KEMANISANNYA AKAN DATANG SENDIRI”

May Allah protects Ustaz Wan always and forever. Amin…

His last words just before me and the rest would leave the place. And when I used to think again, how miserable I have been so far. You’re right ustaz. This world never let me be so easy.
